"We found Lighthouse Point in a magazine we randomly picked up. Murray and I had been talking about getting married and that we wanted to have a relaxed, 4-day party where we had time to spend with our guests. Well, we found it! Lighthouse Point was perfect, so we had to visit, which we did, and reserved our date before even getting engaged because we loved it so much! Well, the weather decided that after a hot, dry summer- it was time to pour! Despite 2+ inches of rain each day, we had a great time. The cabin provided the perfect porches to catch up with folks. As it always does at Lighthouse Point, the weather cleared in time for both the rehearsal and ceremony! We couldn’t have asked for better days! Our guests loved the grounds, area, opportunity to see a new part of the country, and most importantly the chance to visit with one another. We cannot thank you enough for all you did to make our visit so special. You opened your grounds to us and were there every step of the way making sure everything was perfect. Thank you! The comfortable and convenient housing for our wedding party guests created an inviting environment for relaxation and fun. Your constant attentiveness to making sure that all of our guests were happy and safe throughout the weekend allowed us to do nothing more than enjoy being with our guests. The Rolls, the magnificent sunsets, the moonlight view of the bridge from the pier, the full moon that was so huge we felt like we could grab it from the sky…and yes, even the protection of the tents during the rain the day after the wedding, all combined to create a five-star award winning event.
